What it does

There is nothing to set up: following an artist is enough. Release Radar then checks that artist for new releases on its own.

  • Feed: fresh releases from all your artists in one place, with search and genre filters.
  • Notifications: a new release appears under the bell and opens straight on the release.
  • Email: a letter for new releases, or one weekly digest. You choose.

Get started

1

Open Release Radar

Sign in and click Open Release Radar on the Release Radar page. You can also find Release Radar in the Music section of your dashboard.

2

Follow artists

Click Follow Artist on an artist page, or Follow in Artists to follow. Click Refresh to see other suggestions.

3

Check the feed

Releases from your artists appear in the feed. If it is empty, follow more artists.

Use the feed

  • Use Find an artist to jump to one artist.
  • Pick Genres to narrow the feed, and Clear to see everything again.
  • On an artist page, search with Search by title, set dates with From and To, and change the order with Sort.

You can follow up to 250 artists. The feed shows releases from 2026 onward.

Email and notifications

Email is on by default, and you can turn it off at any time.

1

Turn email on or off

On the Release Radar page use the switch Email me about new releases from artists I follow. Every letter also has an unsubscribe link.

2

Choose how often

Go to Settings and find How often: choose As they appear (per release) or Weekly digest.

Per release
Several new releases found together arrive in one letter.
Weekly digest
One letter at most every 7 days, with up to 20 releases.

Notifications under the bell do not depend on the email setting. They follow your general notification switch.

If something goes wrong

The feed is empty
Follow more artists. The feed shows only artists you follow.
The feed did not load
Refresh the page and try again.
No letters arrive
Check the email switch, the frequency in Settings and your spam folder. With a weekly digest the letter comes at most once in 7 days.
You cannot follow another artist
You have reached the limit of followed artists. Unfollow someone first.

Questions

Which releases count as new?

A release no older than 14 days that DJMetry has just found. Older releases stay available in the feed, but they do not trigger a new alert.

Will I get the email on the release day?

Letters go out after DJMetry finds the release, so the time can differ from the moment the music goes live.

Do I need to verify an artist?

No. Any signed-in user can follow artists and use the feed.
