1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DJMetry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the service. DJMetry is an independent analytical platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party music service unless explicitly stated.
2. Nature of the Service
DJMetry provides informational and analytical insights related to music artists and DJs, including rankings, trends, and popularity indicators. All scores, rankings, and analytics provided by DJMetry are opinion-based and algorithmic, for informational purposes only, and not an official measurement of success, popularity, or professional standing.
3. Third-Party Data Sources & Disclaimer (CRITICALLY IMPORTANT)
DJMetry uses publicly available data, APIs, and user-provided information from third-party services, including but not limited to: Spotify, DJ Mag, Google Trends, YouTube, TikTok, and other publicly accessible platforms.
3.1 No Affiliation
DJMetry is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or officially connected to DJ Mag, Spotify AB, Google LLC, TikTok Ltd., YouTube / Google, or any other mentioned third-party service. All trademarks, names, logos, and brands remain the property of their respective owners.
3.2 DJ Mag Specific Disclaimer (MANDATORY)
DJ Mag rankings displayed in DJMetry are sourced from publicly available historical data, are displayed for reference and comparison purposes only, do not represent official DJ Mag rankings within DJMetry, and do not imply partnership or endorsement. DJMetry does not modify, recalculate, or reproduce DJ Mag voting systems. Any comparison or combination with DJMetry scores is purely analytical and editorial in nature.
4. Rankings & Scores Disclaimer
All rankings, scores, and classifications (including "Top DJs", "Trending", "DJMetry Score") are generated by proprietary algorithms, based on aggregated public signals, subject to change at any time, and not guarantees of accuracy. DJMetry does not guarantee ranking positions, growth, career outcomes, or commercial success.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. DJMetry supports registration via email & password and third-party OAuth providers (Spotify, Google, Apple, Facebook). DJMetry does not store passwords from third-party providers.
6. Account Deletion (GDPR / CCPA COMPLIANT)
Users have the right to delete their account at any time and request removal of associated personal data. Upon account deletion, personal user data is permanently removed or anonymized. Aggregated and anonymized analytical data may be retained. Artist analytics already generated may remain for statistical integrity. Account deletion requests can be initiated from the user dashboard or by contacting support.
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not attempt to manipulate rankings or votes, use automated systems to scrape or overload the service, misrepresent affiliation with DJMetry, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
8. Voting Disclaimer
User voting features are limited by system rules, do not represent official industry polls, and are non-commercial, non-contractual, and symbolic. DJMetry reserves the right to invalidate votes in cases of abuse or fraud.
9. Intellectual Property
All original content, algorithms, designs, and trademarks of DJMetry are the exclusive property of DJMetry. Third-party content remains the property of its respective owners.
10. Limitation of Liability
DJMetry shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, loss of data or reputation, or errors or omissions in third-party data. Use of the service is at your own risk.
11. Artist Booking
11.2 No Participation in Transactions and Payments
DJMetry does not participate in negotiations between users and does not control the terms of agreements. The platform:
- does not accept or process booking payments;
- does not withhold commission;
- does not set artist fees;
- does not guarantee conclusion of a deal;
- does not control performance of obligations by the parties.
All financial terms, including the amount of remuneration, payment procedure and other contractual terms, are agreed directly between users outside the DJMetry platform.
11.3 Company Registration and Artist Confirmation
The platform allows users to register company or agency profiles, and artists to confirm their link with such companies. DJMetry does not verify the legal status of companies, the authority of representatives, or the validity of agreements between artists and companies. Responsibility for the accuracy of information and the lawfulness of actions lies entirely with the relevant users.
11.4 Liability of the Parties
Any agreements concluded between users through the booking functionality are independent agreements of the parties. DJMetry is not liable for:
- cancellation, postponement or failure of events;
- non-performance of contractual obligations;
- financial disputes;
- quality of services provided;
- any loss arising from the interaction of users.
11.5 Dispute Resolution
All disputes arising between users in connection with artist booking shall be resolved by them independently without the participation of DJMetry. DJMetry does not act as intermediary, arbitrator or guarantor and is not obliged to participate in the resolution of such disputes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by internationally accepted principles of law, without regard to conflict of law rules.
